Athletic Trainer Certified (ATC)
Athletic training encompasses the prevention, examination, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of emergent, acute or chronic injuries and medical conditions.
Athletic trainers (ATs) are highly qualified, multi-skilled health care professionals who, in accordance with their education and as part of a health care team, can provide service including injury prevention, therapeutic intervention and rehabilitation of injuries.
The current minimum entry point into the profession of athletic training is at the master’s level and requires both clinical experience and board certification.
Mark holds a BS in Athletic Training from Castleton University, now part of Vermont State University. Mark graduated cum laude in 2013 and has been a Board Certified Athletic Trainer since 2013. Mark has been a licensed AT in Massachusetts since 2014.
